Meet the Staff Of Fine Print Imaging
Mark Lukes
Founder and President of Fine Print Imaging
Fine Print grew out of a desire to find someone who understood the unique needs of nature photographers. As Fine Print founder Mark J. Lukes puts it, “I didn’t care about flesh tones or commercial images. I cared about how to make my nature photos look in print like they did when I photographed them in nature.”

Linda Helm
Vice President of Fine Print Imaging
As a partner to Mark Lukes in life and in business, Linda’s role has evolved over the years and now includes fiscal oversight, strategic planning and all HR related concerns. She is well suited to the role having come from a management background in the human services arena.
Michael Roberts
Production Manager Fire Chief, Haz-Mat Man, Janitor, Sidewalk Cleaner, Canvas sprayer …… the list goes on.
And the list really does go on because Mike oversees the entire process of creating your reproductions, from the moment you call or email your order to the moment it goes out the door. He says that “he enjoys working behind the scenes – making sure things get done and get done on time – or sooner. The big challenge is trying to translate art (both photographic and painted) into a reproduction of the art.

Gregory Mayse
Customer Service, Marketing Specialist
While Greg is one of our newest employees (he’s been with us for about a year and a half), he comes with a mountain of photographic experience. Greg knew that his “experience as a professional photographer and former photo lab manager would be an asset to the Fine Print team.

Kate Dardine
Marketing, Newsletters, Customer Relations
“I guess you could call me an Artist’s artist,” says Kate Dardine, Fine Print’s Marketing Director. “I am always looking for ways to help Fine Print’s customer base of artists and photographers market their work. We have a saying here at Fine Print – if you are successful, we are successful.”
Carrie Wiloth
Customer Relations, Marketing
Carrie is the continually upbeat, smiling face at Fine Print. She is also the first voice prospective customers hear since she is responsible for making sure that new customers have all of the info they need to be successful at Fine Print. Carrie puts it better: “I work in marketing for Fine Print. As a group, we try to make sure our websites, catalogs and special promotions are serving our current customers along with the newest person to printing. Most of the people I speak with are those who have not worked with us before, and are new to the printing world.”

Maria Montano
Web Mistress, Marketing, Thorn in Mark Lukes’ Side
Maria came to Fine Print somewhat accidentally - after one of our mutual friends suggested to both of us that she’d be a good fit for us. And our friend was right on! Maria started working at Fine Print in February of 2005.

Jerry Hummel
Digital Specialist and Chief Crate Maker (Master Wood Craftsman)
Jerry started work at Fine Print in January, 1999, bringing to Fine print his knowledge of Iris giclée printing, Photoshop expertise, and experience in working with artist and photographers transitioning to digital technology.

John Stringer
Digital Technician
Photographer, husband, Dad, hockey player, outdoorsman, versatile, serious, funny, dependable, capable. Man of few words …. most of the time. Man of tremendous skill …. all of the time.
Patricia James
Digital Color Technician
Patricia started working with Fine Print on April 15th, 1991, one week before she was to get married. And thus began the tradition of newly hired Fine Print employees leaving for honeymoons immediately after starting their employment with us. Fortunately, Patricia came back after the wedding and has been an indispensible member of our printing team ever since.

Mark James
Printing Technician, Scanner, Pinhole Photographer, B&W Expert and Canvas Finisher
“I started at Fine Print about 12 or 13 years ago depending on who you talk to and how they reckon the passage of time.” (You see… Mark worked here for a period of time, left for another job and then within a year, came back to Fine Print, finally realizing just how good he had it here!)
Mary Hills
Art Copy Technician, Finisher and Image Archivist
Mary started working at Fine Print by a serendipitous chain of events in January of 1992. She was hired as a finisher. “My background in painting was good training for the many hours I spent spotting prints, now a thing of the past. It was always fun to match colors and make the “spot” disappear. Since there were many copies of the same image, with the same “spot”, one had a good chance at achieving perfection, which was always our goal.”
Tonya Aspegren
Finishing Specialist
Tonya is a Finishing Specialist approaching 10 years with Fine Print. When you receive an order, it is possible that somewhere in the process, Tonya may have caught, trimmed, deckled, tissued, dye-spotted, wrapped, or shipped it. And when you receive an order from Tonya, you’ll know it’s done right!
Lena Dalrymple
Bookkeeper, Receptionist and Head Cheerleader
Lena began her career at Fine Print in April 2006. “The thing that attracted me to Fine Print was actually a fluke. I applied for a bookkeeping position at another company, but accidentally e-mailed my resume to Linda. She e-mailed me back to inform me of my mistake and I asked her if she was hiring. Everything clicked and 3 1/2 years later here I am.”

Debbie Roberts
General Assistant
We don’t know when Debbie “officially” started here at Fine Print. We just know that when we hired Mike – and Mike married Debbie (which was a really good move on his part)…. and we ever needed help on anything, anytime – Debbie was there to help and still is.
