Fine Art Smooth Matte Watercolor Paper

The latest addition to our fine art ink media is a vibrant, smooth watercolor paper. Similar in weight to our textured paper, the smooth surface of this paper provides saturated colors and rich blacks while maintaining the subtle nuances in your images. Our extensive testing shows this paper to be equally at home with both black and white and color reproductions.

Fine Print uses pigmented inks and the very latest equipment to produce giclées which are not only faithful to the original but extremely archival. When you present a giclée edition produced by Fine Print to your collectors, you can rest assured that you are offering them the very finest reproductions available today.

Giclée Pricing:
The prices below are for ready to print files and files previously printed and archived with Fine Print Imaging. If your image is on film, please refer to our "Getting your images ready for Giclée printing" section. If this is the first time printing from your print-ready file, see customer supplied print-ready files below.

All giclée prints are priced per square inch and per original. To figure out pricing:

1.) Determine the size of the finished print(s) plus borders. We recommend two inches on all four sides if you plan on stretching your canvas giclée.
2.) Multiply length by width to give you the total square inches.
3.) Finally, multiply this amount by the square inch prices shown below. On reorders, two images may be combined to get into the next lower price category. Math impaired? Don't worry - we'll help you with the calculations.

Send us your film to be scanned. We will digitize 35mm slides, larger transparencies (up to 8x10), and negatives. Plus you receive a free 8x10 proof with our Premier Scan package.

Your digital files may be sent for GIclée output whether the source is a digital camera or your scanner. You may request that we send you a copy of our digital proofing package which will help you calibrate your system, or you can simply download the tip sheets and the
ICC profiles.

You may send files to us using our FTP services. However if a match to an existing guide print is critical, please send the file to us on CD and include the guide print you would like us to match. If your file requires additional work from Fine Print, a cost estimate will be provided prior to beginning any work. We highly recommend ordering a Giclée proof from your supplied file.

Premier Scan from your film:
Send us your 35mm slides, larger transparencies (up to 8x10) and negatives. We will drum scan your film, perform basic clean up ad color work, remove any scratches and print a proof on either watercolor paper or canvas.

Customer supplied print-ready digital files:
You may send us your own color-worked digital files for giclée printing. Please contact us in advance to ensure proper formatting, or visit our web site for information and ICC profiles. We will print from the file your provide us without color adjustments or testing.

Customer supplied digital files requiring color work:
You may send us your own digital file for printing and ask us to match a provided guide print. We will color work the file to get as close to your guide as possible.
