Canvas Gallery Wrapping

Canvas giclées are one of our top selling products. Now you can save time and the cost of framing your art by having Fine Print gallery wrap your canvas giclées for you. Each canvas giclée will be professionally wrapped around a 1.5 inch deep frame.

Gallery Wrapping Checklist:

• You must sign off on a proof prior to ordering gallery wrapping for a new image.
• Please specify one of the following:
• the image itself is to be wrapped around the frame
• a colored border is to be wrapped around the frame (specify the color)
• If you are sending us a file for printing an image which is to be gallery wrapped, add 1.75 inches on all for sides for either the colored border or the image area to be wrapped.
• A slight amount of the image area of the piece being stretched will show around the side edges of the frame so that the image has a clean appearance when viewed from the front.
• Odd sized images will be charged at the next larger print size.
• Price does not include cost of the giclée.
• Gallery wrapping includes backing and hanging hardware.
• Call for availability and pricing on larger sizes.

Gallery Wrap Prices

Raw Scans
Fine Print produces high quality raw scans of your 2-D artwork with our digital back copy camera or your transparency film with our ICG drum scanner. They are created for the artist who seeks a high resolution file to do his or her own color work. This service includes burning the raw scan to a CD. It does not include any color work, dust/scratch removal or proof print.

Computer Manipulation
Just as some images are harder to paint than others, some images are harder to print than others. Because of the painting technique employed the color palette chosen, the reproduction method desired or the artist's degree of perfection, the painting you wish to have reproduced may require additional technician's time to give satisfactory results. Or perhaps the painting to be reproduced has an area that was damaged and you would like Fine Print to fix the damaged area so it doesn't appear in the prints. Anything is possible, but it comes with a cost. Let us know your needs, we will provide you with an estimate.

Fine Print will archive your files for future printing at our lab. No charge.

Change Substrate

Love your Lumira print and now want to try the same image as a watercolor or canvas giclée? No problem. In order to change from one substrate to another, there is a one-time re-profiling charge of $20.00. If you’d like to see a proof before printing the final, check the rates below.

ICC Profiling
Profiles for both watercolor giclée and Lumira output at Fine Print are available for downloading. For even greater accuracy; our Proofing Package will guide you though color management to achieve prints which are faithful to your vision. Call us and we'll send it to you for free.
