Fine Print Imaging offer both Premier Scans and Raw Scans.
While our Raw scans are of the highest quality and contain all of the data from your slide or negative, they are not ready for use until they receive “post processing”—adjustments after you receive the scan.
Raw scans are created with the intent that experienced Photoshop users will perform their own post processing. Once you receive the raw scan, you may need to adjust the following: color, density, contrast and precise white/black/gray point adjustment, sharpening, noise reduction, cropping, perform dust and scratch removal and any other procedures needed to finalize the scan for your intended use.
