Hang tags
Custom Shaped Hang Tags
Custom shaped hang tags are die-cut to an outline instead of a rectangle, so the tag itself becomes part of your brand. Pick from 17 shapes, including gem, leaf, paw, bone, star, tree and layered tags, or send your own outline for a custom die.

Shapes you can choose
Every shape in the configurator uses an existing cutting die, so you only pay for printing and cutting. A shape that matches what you sell is the quickest win: a paw or bone for pet goods, a leaf or tree for natural products, a gem for jewelry, a star for seasonal ranges.
| Shape | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Gem | Jewelry, cosmetics, luxury accessories |
| Leaf and tree | Plants, natural skincare, eco-led brands |
| Paw and bone | Pet food, toys and accessories |
| Star | Seasonal and holiday gifts |
| Heart | Gifts, weddings, Valentine's ranges |
| Hexagon | Honey, candles, modern minimal brands |
| Luggage (angled corners) | Bags, travel goods, outdoor brands |
| Layered | Two-tier tags with a contrasting top layer |
Your own outline
If your brand has a recognizable silhouette, the tag can be cut to it with a custom die. Send a vector outline (AI, EPS or PDF) and keep the shape simple: avoid parts narrower than about 0.12 in (3 mm), very sharp inner corners and thin necks that could tear when the tag is strung.
A custom die adds a one-off setup charge of A custom outline adds a one-off cutting die charge of about $51; standard shapes have no die cost., shown separately from the tag price. The die can be reused for repeat orders.
More shapes on request
Wave, bent oval, lips, retro and squeeze outlines are also possible as custom dies. They are listed here rather than on separate pages; ask in the custom tag builder and describe or upload the shape.
Placing the hole on a shaped tag
Put the hole where the tag balances: the top point of a gem or leaf, the center top of a circle or star. Keep it at least about 0.2 in from the cut edge so it doesn't tear, and add an eyelet on heavy card.
