Recurring Box Orders
A recurring order plan records the same approved boxes or hang tags against a delivery schedule, such as monthly or quarterly. Keep one specification on file, then confirm each release and any artwork changes before production. The plan records the approved specification, release quantities and intended delivery dates. Each release is confirmed in writing before production; a new specification needs an updated quote and proof.
How recurring orders work
- Approve the design and size once
- Choose the quantity per delivery and how often
- Each delivery is printed and shipped on schedule
- Change the quantity, timing or artwork before the next print date
Working out quantity and frequency
Start from how many boxes you use a month, then add a buffer for busy weeks. Larger, less frequent deliveries lower the unit price; smaller, more frequent ones need less storage space and less cash tied up in stock. Many brands settle on a one- or two-month supply per delivery.
| Schedule | Boxes per delivery | Storage needed |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly | About 450 | One month's stock plus buffer |
| Every two months | About 900 | Two months' stock |
| Quarterly | About 1,300 | Three months' stock |
Changing artwork on a schedule
Seasonal designs and new logos can go into the next delivery. Send the new artwork before the print date and approve the proof; the size and board stay the same unless you change them. Submit changes before the proof for that release is approved. Changes after approval may not be possible and can affect the agreed schedule or price.
Questions about recurring box orders
Can I pause or cancel?
Request a pause or cancellation before the next release is approved for production. We confirm what can be changed; work already in production cannot be treated as an unstarted release.
Is there a discount for recurring orders?
There is no automatic recurring discount. The written quote can take the agreed specification, total volume and release sizes into account.
Which products can be scheduled?
Request a schedule for the box or tag specification in your approved quote. Changes to stock, size or finishing must be checked before a new release.
Can I change quantities between deliveries?
Yes, before the next print date.
Is this the same as subscription boxes?
No; subscription boxes are a box style for subscription brands.
